One of the most important cultural festivals for the Indian community, Diwali Festival of Lights is a celebration of light over darkness.
The West Footscray Traders Association’s annual event includes music, food, market stalls, rides, dance and cultural performances and a magnificent fireworks display.
This is a free, family-friendly festival bringing people from many backgrounds together to experience the culture, nostalgia and celebrations that are synonymous with Diwali in India.
This event is proudly supported through Council's Signature Festivals and Activation Grants Program.
