Melbourne's Gooney Bird

Over the years, Melbourne's Goonery Bird have had the privilege of flying a wide range of aircraft, but few are as iconic as the Douglas DC-3. Built in 1945, the DC-3 was one of the last produced, rolling off the Santa Monica production line before being delivered to the RAAF as a C-47. It served faithfully, including in two wars, before joining the Melbourne's Gooney Bird's fleet in the late eighties. Today, it continues to inspire aviation enthusiasts and passengers alike,
