Over the years, Melbourne's Goonery Bird have had the privilege of flying a wide range of aircraft, but few are as iconic as the Douglas DC-3. Built in 1945, the DC-3 was one of the last produced, rolling off the Santa Monica production line before being delivered to the RAAF as a C-47.
